It’s just another useless social networking web site. I guess they call it “micro-blogging”. Essentially, you type a few words (or, sometimes, a full sentence), instead of a full blog entry. “at the store” or “won lots of money” would be commonly seen on Twitter.
People like it because it’s minimalistic and accessible via cell phones and other embedded devices.
it is just another creative social media ,more follower you get more potential you can make profit with it – same like create your email list but in difference way , when you twit your affiliate page ( for example) it easy for your follower to click it , view it or watch it rather than you promote using blog or website
