How to copyright my music/rap beats?

Ive made a BUNCH of rap beats that i want to rap on for my albums, and sell.
i just want to know the easiest way to copyright my music, to sell, and get myself out there in the music business. i need money for a studio/ more equipment

is there a way to copyright through the internet?

and i also want to know how i can get my music heard. im guessing youtube, myspace, soundclick, facebook, and twitter…everybody is on those sites.and that ustream

i guess im going to have to make some music videos?

    i think that you need to market yourself first…you need to make a lot of mixtapes and sell them to your friends or people around your neigborhood..then sell them around stores and all around the town so ppl can get to know you…then you can start making music videos. you should also you soundclick, myspace, and youtube for online promotion.

    Sign up for multiply and make a blog of your raps and put copyright 2009 simple as that you can check out my raps at that’s the link to my rap lyrics don’t you dare steal them and put them on your cd or I will find you!

    Cheapest and easist way to copyright something is Make a copy, write down time and date, the name of the composer, the lyrics, and FEDX it to your self, and dont open it, and put it somewhere safe. This will be a post dated version of the original copy.
    Or take a copy to a Justice of the Peace and get him to post date it. This is usually free.
    Or go your national Intellectual Property website, you can register tings on line.
